
Once again, the coast of Vancouver Island was shaken by an earthquake this morning around 4 a.m. This was the second one within this week, says USGS.
The U.S. Geological Survey declares the magnitude to be 4.0. it was 25 kilometers off Nootka Sound in Northwestern Vancouver Island. The last earthquake was also recorded around the same area, a 6.3 magnitude last Friday.
However, no tsunami warning has been issued, and there are no reports of damage or injuries as yet.
