Homicide Bureau and Special Victims Unit are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a 3 year old child.
On Tuesday, September 20, 2011, the victim was brought to a Mississauga area medical clinic. After further examination, the child was transported to Sick Kids Hospital in critical condition and placed on life – support.
On Wednesday, September 21, 2011, the child passed away. Specific details of the incident are still under investigation. The identity of the child is being withheld until next of kin can be properly notified.
