on Sunday, September 25th, 2011 at approximately 4:20 a.m., Winnipeg Police Service members responded to the area of Boyd Avenue and Andrews Street to check on the well being of an injured male. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male.
The deceased has been identified as: David Michael VINCETT, 20 years of Winnipeg.
An autopsy has been completed and it has been determined that the victim succumbed to upper body injuries as a result of a firearm discharge.
Investigators are seeking information regarding the victim’s whereabouts leading up to the time of the incident.
