The Regina police investigate a suspicious death by house fire

The Regina Police Service, working in partnership with the Regina Fire Department and the Office of the Chief Coroner, is investigating a suspicious death.

On Monday, September 5, 2011, three homes caught on fire in the 1100 block of Robinson Street. Two people were taken to hospital; one has been released, and the second, a 52 year-old male, from Regina, died on September 27, 2011. An autopsy has been completed by the Office of the Chief Coroner. The Regina Police Service is treating the death and the house fires as suspicious.

The investigation is continuing.
