Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 202 Drew Street about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 29).
The victim, Esther Hobbs, 63, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Cardenas, A. Ulloa and I. Ulloa reported:
HPD patrol officers and HFD emergency personnel responded to the above location and found Ms. Hobbs deceased in the front yard of her residence. A preliminary investigation found no signs of trauma to her body nor signs of a struggle inside or outside the home.
The investigation is pending Hobbs’ cause of death to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
