Calgary man Gregory Sanders Houle charged with murder

The Calgary Police Service has charged one man with murder after a woman was found dead on Friday.

On Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at 6:50 p.m., Calgary Police received a 911 call directing them to a residence in the 3600 block of 39 Street N.E.

Officers arrived a short time later and discovered the body of middle-aged woman inside the residence.

A man was taken into custody on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011. Later that day, he was charged.

Gregory Sanders HOULE, 44, of Calgary, has been charged with second degree murder.

He will appear in provincial court on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 at 9 a.m.

The identity of the victim will be released following an autopsy on Monday.
