Members of the District 9 RCMP are investigating the discovery of human remains in a wooded area in Janeville, N.B.
A private property owner discovered the remains on December 5, 2011 while cutting wood on his land.
The RCMP Forensic Identification Section and a forensic anthropologist removed the remains yesterday. The remains will now undergo a forensic examination.
The investigation is ongoing.
