The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a man wanted on an Alberta-wide warrant in relation to a sexual assault.
On Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, a 26-year old female went to a friend’s house where the suspect was visiting. The woman’s friend left the residence leaving the victim and the suspect alone. After a lengthy argument, the suspect attacked the victim, choking and sexually assaulting her.
Shawn Andrew Miller, 39, is charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement and overcoming resistance by choking.
Miller is described as black, 5’7” tall, weighing approximately 150 lbs., with short curly black hair.
