In June 2011, investigators received anonymous information regarding a Stouffville resident who had not disclosed his medical condition prior to becoming intimate with women. In October 2011 investigators identified a victim and as a result of investigation, the suspect was charged on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, without incident.
Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims or persons with information relating to this accused and are urging them to come forward.
CHARGED:
Sarbjit Singh Mann, 39, of Stouffville
CHARGES:
Aggravated Sexual Assault
Criminal Negligence
The accused has been held in custody and will appear sometime today before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket for a show cause hearing.
