Mounties investigate about N.B. man’s body found in wooded area

District 3 RCMP are investigating the death of a 56-year-old man from Saint John, N.B., whose body was found in a remote wooded area on the Backland Road in Kingston, N.B.   Police were called to the scene at approximately 2:00 p.m. on February, 13, 2012.

District 3 General Investigation Section with the assistance of the RCMP Forensic Identification Section and Police Dog Services were on the scene until late into the evening.

An autopsy has been scheduled for later this week to determine the cause of death.

The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time until the family has been properly notified.

Update:  District 3 RCMP have identified the body found in Kingston, N.B., as being Joseph Rhéal Doucet of Saint John, N.B.
