The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to warn citizens that an unknown person, not connected to the Alexander Houle Funeral Home, has been soliciting people for funeral arrangements.
This person is in violation of the Funeral Directors and Establishments Act of Ontario. They are not acting on behalf of the Alexander Houle Funeral Home and anyone who is contacted by someone claiming to be from this organization is encouraged not to disclose any personal information to them and immediately contact police.
