Brampton resident Jarvis Mascarenhas dies of stab wounds

Officers from the Homicide Bureau are currently investigating an early morning altercation in the Hurontario Street and Dundas Street East area of Mississauga, which left a 23 year-old Brampton resident dead.  This is Peel Regional Police’s first homicide of 2012.

On Sunday, March 18, 2012, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to a disturbance call.  Upon arrival, police located the victim suffering from a stab wound.  The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has since been identified as Jarvis Mascarenhas.
