The London Police Service is investigating a homicide that occurred in the late evening hours of Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 4 Archer Crescent, London.
On Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11:41 p.m., a 911 call was received indicating that a female at that residence was in medical distress. The London Police Service, EMS and London Fire Department attended and found a 50-year-old female suffering from stab wounds. She was transported to London Health Sciences Centre where she was pronounced dead. A 53-year-old male was arrested at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old, Sonia El-Birani, of 4 Archer Crescent, London.
Chawki El-Birani, 53-years of age, also of 4 Archer Crescent, London has been charged with second degree murder.
The victim and the accused were married. The autopsy is not yet complete.
This guy’s first name translates into ‘fork’ in Arabic.
