Investigators with the York Regional Police Sexual Assault Unit have charged a 40-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault in the Town of Georgina.
On Sunday, April 15, 2012, at approximately 9:20 p.m., police responded to a sexual assault call in the area of The Queensway South and Biscayne Boulevard. Officers determined a 17-year-old female victim had been sexually assaulted by a male suspect in a nearby park.
A suspect was located in the area of the park by #3 District Uniform Patrol officers and arrested without incident.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to come forward.

– James Daniels, 40, Town of Georgina
CHARGES:
– Sexual Assault
– Breach of Probation
Mr. Daniels has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket sometime today.
