Sexual assault incidents under investigation by Ottawa police

The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section is investigating the report of two sexual assaults and one related suspicious incident that occurred in the South End in the morning hours of April 27, 2012.

At approximately 7:20 am, a 22-year old woman was followed by a suspicious male from Hurdman Station to a school in the 200 block of Knox Avenue. The suspect did not approach the woman but was observed to enter the school.

At approximately 7:40 am, a 19-year old woman was walking in the 1600 block of Dorion Avenue, when a male approached from behind and proceeded to pull her pants down. A struggle ensued and the male walked calmly away.

At approximately 8:00 am, a 41-year old woman was victimized in the same manner while walking on Industrial Avenue near Alta Vista Drive.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5 ft 6in, 20-25 years, medium build, short black hair wearing a dark hooded jacket, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap.
