Investigators from the Special Victims Unit have arrested a Peel District School Board grade school teacher, in relation to several sexual offences against a former student.

David LANG a 29 year-old teacher from Cheyne Middle School in Brampton, has been arrested and charged with Sexual Interference, Invitation to Sexual Touching and Sexual Assault.  LANG was initially held for a Bail Hearing, and will now appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on June 4, 2012 in answer to the charges. The victim, a 13 year-old girl was previously a student of LANG’s.

Mr. LANG has taught at three different schools, within the Peel District School Board system, over the past three years, Cheyne Middle School, Fairwind Public School and Williams Parkway Senior Public School. Investigators are concerned that there may be more victims.
