Toronto baby sitter Fermin Caracas charged for sexual assault

The Toronto Police Service arrested a man on Thursday, May 31, 2012, in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that: 

– the accused has baby-sat a number of children in his home over the past 10 years

– while at the accused’s home a four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by the accused

It is further alleged that:

– between 2002 and 2003, a boy who was four years old at the time, was sexually assaulted by the accused

Fermin Caracas, 82, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. two counts of Sexual Assault
2. two counts of Sexual Interference
3. Invitation to Sexual Touching

He appeared in court at College Park on Friday, June 1, 2012, room 507, at 10 a.m.

Police believe there may be more victims.
