A Bowmanville pizza store manager is facing sexual assault charges after allegedly touching two female employees in an inappropriate manner.

At the end of May 2012, an 18-year-old female employee reported the manager of the pizza store would hug and touch her and another 17-year-old female employee inappropriately. On one occasion it’s alleged the male suspect propositioned one of the girls for sex. The victims were not physically harmed.

Following an investigation into the incidents, Durham Regional Police arrested and charged an Oshawa male. Officers would like to speak to any former employees of the Free Topping Pizza location on King Street East in Bowmanville as the investigation continues.

Phulvinder (Phil) Jaswal, age 57, of Oshawa is charged with Sexual Assault x2 and Sexual Exploitation. He was released on an OIC Undertaking with conditions.
