Calgary man Christopher Ivan Gooder wanted in attempted murder case

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to locate a man wanted for attempted murder.
At approximately 6:40 a.m., on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, emergency services were called to the 4300 block of Doverwood Place S.E., for reports of a stabbing. It’s believed two men who were at the home had been in an altercation and one had stabbed the other.
The 24-year-old victim sustained extensive injuries to his head, neck and face, and was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Officers have attempted to locate a suspect in this case, and are investigating multiple leads. The public is now being asked to help locate Christopher Ivan Gooder, 29, of no-fixed-address in Calgary.
Gooder is Aboriginal, 5’11” tall, 180 pounds, with a medium build. He has black hair and brown eyes.
As well as attempted murder, Gooder is facing charges of assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
