Police search for drowning Pugwash man in Brookdale

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…RCMP Cumberland District are currently on the scene of a drowning in Brookdale.
 
Shortly after 10:00 a.m. RCMP responded to a call regarding a possible drowning.  A 28-year-old Pugwash man did not surface after jumping into the water with friends at the Pumping Station in Brookdale.  Town officials are closing the pumping station to allow the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team to conduct their search. 
 
At this time the man has not been located and his name is not being released.

Update: With the assistance of the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team, this evening at 8:06 p.m., the body of the 28-year-old Pugwash man was recovered. The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time. The investigation is continuing.
