Following two separate reported incidents in one week involving a male suspect exposing himself to young women in Port Perry, investigators have charged a Peterborough resident.
The first reported incident occurred on Monday June 18, 2012, involving a male suspect in a Port Perry coffee shop who reportedly exposed himself to several 12 and 13-year-old female school children. Later in the week, on Friday June 22, 2012, the male suspect was arrested by investigators getting into his green pick-up truck after he fondled himself in front of young teenagers in another Port Perry coffee shop.
Kirk Kenneth Jones, age 48 of Silverdale Road in Peterborough is charged with: Indecent Act – Exposing Genitals to Person Under 16 Years of Age x2. The accused was released on an Undertaking with conditions and is court ordered to remain outside of Durham Region.
Investigators are wishing to ensure there are no further victims.
