On Tuesday, July 3, 2012, police arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, the accused, pretending to be a plumber conducting repairs, was invited into a woman’s home in the Don Mills Road/Sheppard Avenue East area
– the accused then sexually assaulted the woman
Rashid Munawar Virk, 28, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Sexual assault
2) Unlawfully in a dwelling
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be more victims.
