The Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing man who was last seen at 2:00 a.m. on July 3rd at his residence in the 1200 block of East 17th Avenue.

Alan Arkley is described as a white male, 74 years old, 5’9″ tall, and between 180 and 225 lbs. He has short white hair and a big white beard. He has tattoos on both arms. He may be wearing a navy colored jacket with red patches on the shoulders and black jeans.

Mr. Arkley has dementia, and police and family are concerned for his well-being.
Area searches by police around his home as well as checks of public transit, other Metro Vancouver police agencies, and local hospitals, have failed to turn up any sign of Mr. Arkley.
