Toronto Police request assistance with personal injury collision

On Sunday, April 4, 2010, at 4:20 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision on Lawrence Avenue East at Crockford Boulevard.

It is reported that:

– a 50-year-old man, driving a Chevrolet Malibu, was travelling westbound on Lawrence Avenue East at Kennedy Road,

– the vehicle struck the north curb, then crossed the centre line into the path of a Hyundai Tuscon, which was eastbound on Lawrence Avenue East at Crockford Blvd,

– the driver of the Hyundai Tuscon, a 37-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital,

The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu was taken to hospital with major injuries, though none was reported as life-threatening.
