On Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 9 a.m., the Toronto Police Service and Toronto Fire Services responded to a fire at 795 Ossington Avenue.
It is alleged that:
– the fire spread to 793 and 797 Ossington Avenue,
– residents were evacuated with no injuries.
After further investigation, Paulina Szpakowska, 32, of Toronto was arrested and charged with Arson by Negligence.
She was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Friday, April 2, 2010.
The investigation is continuing with the Fire Marshall’s Office.
