Dead Body found in the Humber River, Toronto

On Saturday, April 3, 2010, at 1:30 p.m., police received a call for a possible dead body in the Humber River, near Riverside Drive and Primula Crescent.

Emergency Services personnel arrived on scene and located a deceased person in the water. The Coroner attended the scene and, with the assistance of the Toronto Police Service Marine Unit, the body was removed to the coroner’s office at 26 Grenville Street.

A post-mortem examination will be performed to determine the cause of death.

31 Division is currently investigating, and the identity of the deceased is being withheld, pending positive identification.
