Hamilton caregiver Greg Dalley charged with second degree murder of a child Noah Keizer

On Friday, July 13th, 2012 at approximately 11.30 p.m., Hamilton Police, Fire and EMS responded to a 9-1-1 call for a child not breathing at 514 King Street East, Hamilton. A 26-month old child, identified as Noah Keizer, was found unresponsive and was transported to Hamilton General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

An investigation was commenced and on July 14th, 2012 an autopsy was conducted at the Forensic Pathology unit of the Hamilton General Hospital.

It has been determined that Noah Keizer’s death was not accidental and he was the victim of homicide.

On July 17th, 2012, Hamilton Police arrested his caregiver at the time of his death, Greg Dalley, 25 yrs. of Hamilton. He has been charged with Second Degree Murder and will appear at the John Sopinka Court House this morning.

This is Hamilton’s 4th homicide of 2012.
