On Monday, July 16, 2012, the North Vancouver RCMP was advised by staff at Lions Gate Hospital of a missing male patient. Reported missing is Andres Jimenez-Ponte. Andres is a North Vancouver resident, off his medication, and is considered to be a danger to himself. He left with no indication as to his whereabouts.  

Andres Jimenez-Ponte is described as:

– Caucasian male, 18 years old

– 173 cm (5’ 8) tall, 068 kg (150 lbs)

– Black hair, brown eyes

– Last seen wearing khaki shorts and orange t-shirt

– Tattoos on left forearm and back of left hand.                                        

The family and police are concerned for Andres’ well-being and safety and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him, said Cpl. Richard De Jong, spokesperson for the North Vancouver RCMP.
