Le Monde Cafe owner Mohammad Reza “Roy” Arabi charged with sexual assault

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

– on multiple occasions, the owner of Le Monde Cafe, 5418 Yonge Street, sexually assaulted two female employees, a 22-year-old, and a 20-year-old, in the cafe

On Thursday, July 26, 2012, at approximately 2 p.m., Mohammad Reza "Roy" Arabi, 55, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) ten counts of Sexual assault

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, room 306, on Friday, July 27, 2012, at 10:00 a.m.

Mohammad Reza "Roy" Arabi has been the owner of the cafe since 1997. Police believe there may be more victims.
