22 year-old male motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in collision

Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses, after a motorcycle collided with an automobile.

On Monday, April 20, 2010, at approximately 6:45 p.m., a motorcycle was travelling west on Battleford Road, west of Winston Churchill Blvd. At this time, as a result of circumstances still under investigation, the motorcyclist collided with an automobile.

The 22 year-old victim was thrown off his motorcycle. As a result of his injuries, he was transported by air ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre.

The investigation is still ongoing and investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the events leading up to it.

At the request of the family, the victim’s name is not being released at this time.
