Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5800 West Tidwell about 1:50 a.m. today.
The victim, Gabriel Morales, 55, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer J. French reported:
Mr. Morales was walking home in the 5800 block of West Tidwell when he was approached by an unknown suspect who shot him and left him on the sidewalk.
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
