District 6 RCMP Blackville Detachment is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Blissfield, N.B. man.

83-year-old William Gaston was last seen around 3:00 p.m.  on September 20, 2012, driving his truck along Route 8 near the Green Bye Road in the Blissfield area.  The truck is a 2000 GMC Sierra, navy blue in colour, with New Brunswick Veteran’s license plate “WP 498”.

He is described as approximately 5’8” to 5’ 10″ tall with grey hair and bald on the top of his head.  Gaston is slightly heavy set, wears glasses, and walks with a cane.  He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and a baseball cap with an Air Force logo on the front. 

Gaston is in relatively good shape but does require medication for some health conditions.  He enjoys the outdoors especially being out in the woods.
