Mitchell Leton Celise, 17, killed in Toronto.

On Monday, May 3, 2010, at 3:33 p.m., police responded to a shooting call in the Winona Drive/Hursting Avenue area.

Officers located a boy suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to hospital via emergency run, but succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Mitchell Leton Celise, 17, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4, 2010.

Investigators believe the victim was in the company of two males prior to the shooting. Police would like to speak to these two males and request they come forward.

Witnesses report seeing a male armed with a handgun, described as having a dark-black complexion, 15-18, 5’5"-5’8", with a slim build. He seen wearing a white, long-sleeve T-shirt, which was seized by police in the area. The suspect was seen fleeing wearing a white tank top, jeans with white design/lettering on the rear pockets.
