The Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing elderly man who suffers from Alzheimer’s.

Mao Lan Hsu has not been since he left his home in the 2900 block of Rosemont Drive at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Mr. Hsu is Asian, 87 years old, 5’4″ tall and weighs 110 lbs., with very short gray hair. He was wearing a light blue baseball cap, a blue vest, a white collared shirt, dark pants and black Velcro shoes. Mr. Hsu speaks Mandarin and does not speak English.

Mr. Hsu travels on transit and likes to visit Champlain Square and the Killarney Community Centre.

Family and police are growing concerned for his safety, as it is not normal for Mr. Hsu to be away from the family home for this long.

Area searches by police around his home, as well as checks of public transit, other Metro Vancouver police agencies, taxi companies, and local hospitals, have failed to turn up any sign of Mr. Hsu.
