Ottawa police search for missing man Larry Kennedy

The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a missing adult male. The male in question is identified as Mr. Larry Kennedy. He is described as a white male, 53 years of age, 6 ft 1 in tall, 230 lbs, clean-shaven, salt and pepper hair with a receding hairline. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a jean jacket. 

The male is missing from his home in the East End. He was last seen on Monday 01 October 2012 in the area of Booth St but he spoke with family members by phone on 03 October 2012 at approximately 7:15 p.m. He would not tell them where he was. He is most likely travelling by public transit or on foot. Mr. Kennedy may be suffering from dementia and family members are concerned for his well-being. Anyone with information regarding Mr. Kennedy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Missing Person Section or the Communications Centre. 

Unfortunately, no photo of Mr. Kennedy is available at this time.

Update: The Ottawa Police Service would like to advise that Larry Kennedy has been located safe and sound.
