York Regional Police is seeking public assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old female from the City of Vaughan.
Yang Yue Zhang, who uses the name Ava Zhang was last seen on October 2, 2012. She left her school, in the area of Dufferin Street and Clarke Avenue at 12.30 p.m. and did not return home.
Police and Ms. Zhang’s family are concerned for her well-being as her actions are out of character, and she has not gone missing before without contacting her family.
She is described as:
– Female, Asian
– 5’2”, 100 lbs.
– Brown eyes
– Long black hair
– Last seen wearing jeans, white T-shirt and blue Nike running shoes.
The investigation is ongoing.
