On Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 12:49 a.m., police received a call for sexual assault in the Black Creek Drive/Trethewey Drive area.
It is alleged that:
– On Wednesday, March 24, 2010, a man met a 19-year-old woman in a bar in the Eglinton Avenue West/Black Creek Drive area,
– the woman was taken to a park and sexually assaulted.
Edmund Cherry, 28, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault,
2) Overcome Resistance,
3) Assault.
He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, May 13, 2010, room 206, at 10 a.m.
