The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is reported that:
– from May 2007 to the present, a man is responsible for a series of sexual assaults on the Yonge Street subway line,
– he frequently uses the subway during the morning and evening rush hours,
– he approaches women, 20 to 40, slim-to-average build, with long, black or dark-brown hair,
– the suspect stands behind the victim on crowded trains and performs sexual acts.
The suspect is described as East Indian, 30-40, 5’9”, medium build with black, wavy hair.
Riders should be particularly vigilant at the Dundas and Queen subway stations in the morning and the Eglinton and Davisville subway stations in the late afternoon.
