The Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit is presently investigating a single motor vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 49 year old male. The collision occurred at approximately 4:00 pm today at Cavan Street near Raven Avenue. The north and south bound lanes between Larose Ave and Raven Ave were closed due to the investigation but have since re-opened.
The identity of the victim is NOT to be released at this time.
