Toronto Police Searches Suspects for Two Separate Shootings

Police is searching the Toronto’s west end and gathering surveillance footage to investigate two different shootings in the area, leaving one dead and two injured. The Police have so far recognized the victim killed in the Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue West area on Tuesday afternoon to be a 26-year-old, Leonard Charles Fullerton, of Toronto.

According to the investigators both Fullerton and the suspect were witnessed arguing just before the shooting at almost 4:20 p.m. Fullerton endured a gunshot wound directly to his head and eventually died in the hospital. Witnesses have informed the police that the allege suspect escaped east bound on the Denarda Street on foot before entering a small, silver, four-door car. Police warned the public to stay cautious as they believe the suspect to be armed and dangerous.

Later Tuesday, Toronto police were called to another shootings incident near Jane Street and Highway 401. Police reached a residential building at 40 Falstaff Ave. just after 8 p.m. Paramedics found the body of a 23-year-old man who was shot in groin multiple times in the staircase of the house. Soon after paramedics were escorted by residents to the community centre across the street where another body of a 17-year-old boy boy was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds to head. Both victims were rushed to hospital, and the injuries of 17-year-old boy are being considered serious.

The police department has not yet made any arrest in either of the cases, but they have shared their judgment declaring that there’s no evidence suggesting that the incidents were connected.
