The 28-year-old Moncton man wanted by Codiac Regional RCMP on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with a stabbing incident in Moncton has been arrested.

Stephen Alexander MacNeil was arrested without incident by District 5 RCMP this morning in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, N.B. He has been charged with aggravated assault and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court today at 1:30 p.m.

Codiac RCMP continue to attempt to identify a second person of interest as part of their investigation into a stabbing incident that occurred in the early morning hours of November 1, 2012, on Robinson Street in Moncton.

This second man had his face painted as the Joker from Batman. He is described as being possibly 5’6” or 5’7”, slim, with short spiked hair. He was wearing a blue short sleeved shirt, a dark tie and dark pants.
