Brampton resident Marcieline Newland’s death being treated as murder

On Friday November 16, 2012 at approximately 2:00 PM Peel Regional Police 22 Division officers and EMS personnel attended at a Crystal Glen Crescent, Brampton residence in response to a female party found without vital signs. 

The continuing investigation and post-mortem results have revealed that Marcieline Newland a 22 year-old Brampton resident, was the victim of a homicide. 

The investigation is now lead by the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau who have been involved from the outset. They would like to reassure the public there is no indication of any further threat to public safety as this investigation continues.
