Sydney Mines woman Victoria Ann Weir and Dartmouth man Dustin Brian Hales charged with first degree murder

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit have charged a man and woman in the murder investigation of Christina Kathleen Cline.

On November 19, 2011, a man walking in Shubie Park, in an area described as Vivian’s Way, discovered the body of 27-year-old Christina Kathleen Cline and contacted police.

On November 24, police arrested 26-year-old Victoria Ann Weir of Sydney Mines in Cape Breton and 37-year-old Dustin Brian Hales of Dartmouth, who was arrested in Truro. They are charged with first degree murder. They were remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.
