Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Following a four week trial in Miramichi Court of Queen’s Bench, three people from Montreal have been found guilty in connection with two thefts from safes in homes in the Neguac area on August 18, 2008 and October 18, 2008. More than $750,000 was stolen.

52-year-old Fernand Robichaud was found guilty of break, enter and theft in both thefts as well as breaching conditions of his release. 25-year-old Marc-André Charlebois had previously pleaded guilty in connection with the August 18, 2008 theft. On Wednesday, he was found guilty of break, enter and theft in the October 18, 2008 theft. He was also found guilty of breaching conditions of his release. 23-year-old Annie Gauthier was found guilty in connection with the October 18, 2008 theft.

All three are scheduled to be sentenced on August 4, 2010 in Miramichi Court of Queen’s Bench.

The investigation into the thefts involved District 8 RCMP (Acadian Peninsula), RCMP Bathurst Major Crime Unit, the Sûreté du Québec, the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Police Force and the C Division (Quebec) RCMP.
