Fred Prosser has been found guilty in the 2010 murder of 25-year-old Sabrina Patterson of Riverview.

Sabrina Patterson was reported missing on October 31, 2010. 33-year-old Fred Prosser was arrested on November 4, 2010 in connection with her disappearance and subsequently charged. The body of Sabrina Patterson was found on November 6, 2010, in a wooded area near Shenstone.

On December 4, 2012, a Court of Queen’s Bench jury in Moncton found Prosser guilty on three charges; first degree murder, sexual assault causing bodily harm, and sexual assault.

He has been sentenced to life in prison with no eligibility for parole for 25 years, 7 years for sexual assault causing bodily harm, and 5 years for sexual assault.
