York police search for missing elderly man Donald Sheppard

York Regional Police is seeking public assistance in locating a missing 88-year-old man from the Town of Aurora.

Donald Sheppard, was last seen on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at approximately 2:30 p.m., at his residence in the Town of Aurora. Mr. Sheppard is driving a grey 4-door Toyota Camry, with Ontario licence plate 1V1 992. He may be traveling in the City of Barrie.

Police and the Sheppard family are concerned for his well-being as he requires daily medication. It is also unusual for him to be out of contact with family and friends for an extended period of time.

He is described as:

– Male, white

– 5’9″

– Blue eyes

– Short grey hair

– Last seen wearing a green trench coat, brown pants and black rubber boots.

The investigation is ongoing and police.
