N.B. man Frank Sloan Hannay arrested on Canada-wide warrant

District 5 RCMP has arrested a man wanted on Canada-wide warrant.

On December 6, 2012, the District 5 RCMP Crime Reduction Unit with the assistance of the Codiac RCMP Police Dog Section arrested 42-year-old Frank Sloan Hannay of Bass River, N.B. in connection with an outstanding Canada-wide warrant.

He was arrested without incident outside a residence on Bass River Point Road in Bass River. 

Hannay had been wanted on an outstanding parole warrant since May of 2012. He was also being sought in connection with an assault causing bodily harm incident that occurred in Moncton in August. 

Hannay has been returned to a federal institution.
