Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly female.
On Monday December 24, 2012, Virginia Zarate De Baksh was last seen in the afternoon at her residence in the area of Rathburn Road and Dixie Road in the city of Mississauga. She has not made contact with family or friends since she was last seen.
Ms. Virginia Zarate De Baksh is 69 years of age, 5’3”, Latin American, thin build, straight brown hair , above the shoulders, prescription glasses, unknown clothing.
This is completely out of character as she has never been missing before. This, coupled with the cold, icy conditions, is causing concern for investigators and family members.
Update: Ms. Zarate De Baksh has since been located deceased. No foul play is suspected in this incident.
