Homicide investigators have made an arrest in the first homicide of 2013.
On Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded to an address on Colonial Drive, for a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed the accused acting strangely, and entered the home. The victim, 2 year old Evadne Williams-Scott, was discovered with no vital signs and obvious signs of trauma.
Teresa Amelia Williams, 24 years old of Mississauga was arrested at the scene for Murder and she will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton later today.
This investigation is on-going.
