Toronto man Thomas Webber charged with four counts related to sexual assault

On Thursday, January 3, 2013, The Toronto Police Service issued a news release regarding a man wanted in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

− on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at approximately 3 a.m., a 37−year−old woman met a man in the Queen Street East/Lee Avenue area

− the man engaged the woman in conversation, invited her to his home and she agreed

− once at his home, the woman was forcibly confined and sexually and physically assaulted by the man

On Tuesday, January 1, 2013, Thomas Webber, 58, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with: 

1. Sexual Assault
2. Forcible Confinement
3. Assault
4. Voyeurism

Police believe there may be more victims.
